¡Viviana Hurtado's The Wise Latina Club LATISM 2012 Best Politics Blog!

You did it again! You helped make The Wise Latina Club Latinos in Social Media (LATISM)'s 2012 Best Politics Blog for the second year in a row.

LATISM is a special community, bringing together Hispanics from all walks of life, working on a variety of issues and topics, but united by their passion to improve and educate our community by using technology and social media.

If you, the readers, of TWLC are its soulful voice, LATISM has been the megaphone that has touted our perspectiva, opinions, agreements, and disagreements to the four corners of the ciber-universo. This is so powerful because we've created a safe space where we can talk and listen. We're connecting which is critical because for so long our female voces have felt ignored and invisible. No longer.

¿Know what chicas? The best is yet to come.

Continue reading or click here to read not just the names of the winners but LATISM founder Ana Roca Castro's announcement. If our voices are little points of light, this lady is uniting us in one powerful beam that is shining light, inspiration, achievement, and confidence into our communities.
