What's The Future For The 'Kids Of Kabul'?

¡Ah-hah! This is that quintessential NPR momento, when you learn something new.

I know it sounds contradictory, but it's like taking a mental vacation and the rush that comes with exploration and discovery.

Both make you feel good.


Canadian Journalist and author Deborah Ellis went to Kabul in 2011 and asked Afghanistan's children how they see their future.  She gathered their responses in her recently released book, Kids of Kabul: Living Bravely Through a Never-Ending War.
